Have you ever asked God for a specific something?
Did you believe in all your being that God would in fact fulfill your request?
However God said, “No.”
You find yourself asking, “Why?”
I think in some instance or another that we all have experienced when our Father God said, “No” and our request did not manifest.
I must say that in those instances that I have been disappointed in the past and allowed my emotions to get the best of me. However, God has always healed my temporary hurt and showed me that he had something better for me. When God doesn’t give you what you thought you wanted it is because he knows he has something better for you. God wants you to have the desires of your heart under pure and perfect conditions. God will not give you less than the best he has for you at that time. Perhaps you want a car you go car shopping and every car you looked at was used because you wanted something you could afford but it wasn’t what you really wanted. When comes time to get financing for the used car there is problem after problem leaving you with no car. One day you get this feeling that you should go car shopping again. While at the dealership they ask you have you considered a new car. They show you a car you love but are unsure if it is in the budget. Well once in financing you are approved for a low interest rate and a payment the same you would have paid for the used car if it was for you. You get to drive off the lot with your NEW car. In this situation God said, “No”. No to your settling mindset because he wanted you to experience the best for you at that time. Always know God wants you to have the best available although at times we choose to ignore what God is saying and showing us leaving us to have to learn the hard way. When God tells you, “No”, just say okay Lord, practice patience and God will lead you to your Yes.
